Am 3. Dezember 1993 explodierten in der ORF-Minderheitenredaktion in Wien und beinahe zeitgleich in der Pfarre Hartberg zwei Briefbomben. Sie verletzten die Moderatorin Silvana Meixner und den Pfarrer und Fl\u00fcchtlingshelfer August Janisch schwer. Weitere Briefbomben erhielten unter anderem der Wiener B\u00fcrgermeister Helmut Zilk und der Artikel-VII-Kulturverein der Steirischen Slowen*innen in Bad Radkersburg \/ Radgona. Der folgenschwerste Anschlag fand am 4. Februar 1995 im burgenl\u00e4ndischen Oberwart statt. Vier Roma-Angeh\u00f6rige wurden get\u00f6tet, als sie eine Tafel mit der Inschrift \u201eRoma zur\u00fcck nach Indien!\u201c entfernen wollten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die Terrorwelle dauerte bis zur Festnahme von Franz Fuchs im Jahr 1997 an. Insgesamt 25 Briefbomben und drei Spreng- bzw. Rohrbomben hatten 13 zum Teil Schwerverletzte und vier Tote zur Folge \u2013 alle Minderheitenangeh\u00f6rige oder ihre Unterst\u00fctzer*innen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
